NATURAL ROCKS

Basalto

Basalto

The word BASALTO derives from the Latin BASALTES, a variant of Basanites meaning "very hard stone". Basalto (or Pedra Ferro) is an eruptive rock (magmatic) of mafic composition and therefore rich in iron magnesium silicates.

Basalto is a fine-grained and dark rock, usually grayish, adapting easily to any environment.

GRANITE

GRANITE

Granite is an igneous rock (result of the cooling and solidification of magma) that forms below the ground layer and is formed when the lava solidifies in low pressure.

It may have different colors due to its mineral components. There are three elements in granite: mica, quartz and feldspar. Because of this, each mineral has a different color. Also, depending on the colors of the minerals, granite can present different coloring results.

MARBLE

MARBLE

Marble is a metamorphic rock originating from limestone exposed to high temperatures and low to moderate pressure. For this reason the largest marble deposits are found in regions of limestone matrix rock and where there was volcanic activity.

Marble is a rock exploited for use in civil construction

The Travertine Marble

The Travertine Marble

Travertine Marble is a natural beige colored rock composed of calcite, aragonite and limonite from Minas Gerais. It is a result of physical-chemical reactions suffered by other rocks and alsoby the action of thermal waters, and is one of the most used stones in construction and coating in Brazil.

The best known are those of Italian origin, such as Roman Travertine, Navona, Classic, Tuscan, among others. In Brazil, the most populars are Romano and Navona, both imported from Italy or other parts of the world.

QUARTZITES

QUARTZITES

Metamorphic rock whose main component is quartz. Quartz is a mineral formed by the combination of oxygen and silicon. This mineral is found in almost all igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks, in addition to being one of the main components of granite.

It has also been found in meteorites and in some rocks collected on the Moon.

THE LIMESTONE

THE LIMESTONE

Limestone is a rock composed mostly of mineral calcite, reminiscent of marble stone. Its limestone formation offers a natural rusticity, soft and with little shine.

Its origin comes from Turkey and Spain, but it can also be found in Brazil, specifically in the northeast region. However, like national marble, Limestone is more fragile and susceptible to stains and scratches.

ONYX

ONYX

The onyx stone is a variety of quartz, much appreciated for its grandeur and rare beauty. It has a smooth and delicate texture, as if polished by nature, a translucent appearance and a color that varies between white, pink, yellow, red, green, beige and black.

The stone is also known for its exclusivity: each slab is unique, with different veins, nuances and shades. This makes it one of the preferred stones for high-end projects and a more excluusive public, whom does not give up differentiated materials.

SYNTHETIC STONES

The Prime

The Prime

Prime Stone, or Aglostone, is an industrialized material composed mainly of marble dust and resin.

Today, in addition to the white color, it is also found in gray, beige and even white with small movements (Ariston).

QUARTZ

QUARTZ

Manufactured with 94% Quartz and the rest with resin and other pigments, the coating offers a wide variety of shades and colors, which gain special prominence thanks to their shine, that with the correct maintenance and care, can maintain its beauty and lasting luster of its surface.

The Nanoglass

The Nanoglass

Indicated for use in kitchen countertops, bathrooms, floors, stairs and wall coverings, Nanoglass has very particular characteristics that increase its use in projects, such as the glossy and slightly spread surface, totally smooth and uniform.

It is important to pay attention to the excessive heat applied to this material (hot pot for example), as it can crack and it is not possible to restore it.

The Corian

The Corian

Being an artificial rock, it consists of a mixture composed of 30% acrylic polymers and 70% natural minerals

Its main characteristics are: the ease of molding, the possibility of eliminating visible joints, its translucent capacity and its great hardness and abrasion resistance.

SINTERIZED MINES

It is a product made from very fine and selected natural raw materials that, after a high-tech
process of ultra compaction and sintering (process of agglutination of a set of particles
submitted to high temperatures in order to obtain a solid piece), makes a product a high
performance surface with unique characteristics with multiple applications (facades, bathrooms,
    kitchens, stairs, furniture...).

It is a product made from very fine and selected natural raw materials that, after a high-tech process of ultra compaction and sintering (process of agglutination of a set of particles submitted to high temperatures in order to obtain a solid piece), makes a product a high performance surface with unique characteristics with multiple applications (facades, bathrooms, kitchens, stairs, furniture...).

As it is a new category of material, 100% natural, which does not undergo environmental changes, it has no restrictions on its application and it has numerous possibilities of being used.

The ultra-compact slats do not contain resin in the composition, so they don’t deform with the heat of hot pans, so they can be applied on countertops (including outdoor areas) and even on facades.

In addition, veneer boards are manufactured from a thickness of 3mm to 2cm, the most used for countertops being 1.2cm thick.
